Silicon carbide brick

Silicon carbide bricks have high thermal conductivity and exhibit excellent wear resistance, thermal shock resistance, and corrosion resistance.

Product Introduction

Silicon carbide bricks boast high thermal conductivity as well as excellent wear resistance, thermal shock resistance, and corrosion resistance. They can be used for lining aluminum electrolytic cells, molten aluminum conduits, kiln furniture in ceramic kilns, the lower sections of large and medium-sized blast furnace bodies, the waist and belly regions of blast furnaces, lining for aluminum refining furnaces, and linings for zinc distillation pots. Silicon carbide bricks are primarily made from silicon carbide (SiC), with various binders added according to specific requirements. After being formed under high pressure, these corundum-silicon carbide brick products exhibit outstanding thermal stability, a high thermal conductivity coefficient, and superior corrosion resistance, making them an ideal energy-saving material for industrial kilns.

Product Features

Silicon carbide bricks have high thermal conductivity and exhibit excellent wear resistance, thermal shock resistance, and corrosion resistance.

Product Use

It can be used for lining aluminum electrolytic cells, molten aluminum conduits, kiln furniture for ceramic kilns, the lower sections of large and medium-sized blast furnace bodies, the waist and belly regions of blast furnaces, lining for aluminum refining furnaces, and linings for zinc distillation pots, among other applications. Silicon carbide bricks are primarily made from silicon carbide (SiC), with various binders added as required. After being formed under high pressure, these alumina-silicon carbide brick products exhibit excellent thermal stability, a relatively high thermal conductivity, and outstanding corrosion resistance. They are ideal energy-saving materials for industrial kilns. The main applications of silicon carbide bricks include: lining and partition materials for heat treatment furnaces, laboratory muffle furnaces, glass annealing furnaces, enamel sintering furnaces, diffusion furnaces, and various types of kilns.
